The Opportunity

Olsam are looking for an Amazon PPC specialist to manage a selection of our global brands. Reporting to the PPC Manager & PPC Lead, the PPC Executive will be responsible for driving efficiency & growth through careful implementation of bid & budget management. Helping to manage a spend of up to $200k per month the ideal candidate will have managed multiple brands and campaigns with high seasonality and clear profitability goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the PPC Manager on their key accounts to allocate spending & implement PPC strategies to drive profitable sales & growth
  • Carry out keyword analysis, competitor analysis, keyword benchmarking, performance tracking & campaign relevancy management to support the PPC Manager to deliver efficiency against TACOS & profitability targets
  • Deliver set out strategies & implement a range of advertising campaigns according to the needs of each brand/category
  • Track activity clearly to allow the PPC Manager to track performance vs actions
  • Track organic keyword ranking for key products & monitor ad reliance of core lines, making listing improvement suggestions and supporting on SEO work (keyword inclusion, tagging, etc.)
  • Support the transition of campaigns onto Pacvue, using the tool to carry out bulk optimisation tasks as well as monitoring the performance of rule-based automation & AI activity
  • Monitor daily, weekly & monthly performance trends, ACOS, profit and spend across your brands
  • Support the PPC Manager & PPC Lead to carry out weekly & monthly reporting using Tableau, Excel & Pacvue
  • Monitor key listings daily & weekly to ensure Buybox ownership, listing quality & watch out for competitor bidding – highlight any issues with the listings to the PPC & Brand Managers

Job requirements

About You

  • Ideally 1-2 years’ experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns across Sponsored Products, Brands & Display campaigns. If you managed Google Ads or other Search based campaign types it’s a plus.
  • It is a plus is you have experience using an Amazon PPC Automation tool such as Pacvue, Scale Insights, Quartile, BidX or similar.
  • Experience using a Keyword Tracking / Kw Research tool such as Helium10, DataDive, Datarova or other keyword & performance analysis tools
  • Demonstrable technical skill – proven track record of delivering search growth & efficiency, strategic leadership & commercial understanding
  • Organisation & time management – able to manage and juggle multiple projects at once, across the pod structure
  • Data analytical excellence – able to perform complex data analysis and understand search performance, the levers that drive it and how to solve issues that arise
  • Creative & lateral thinking – show skill for solving strategic problems and finding solutions to difficult issues, as well as developing robust test and learn plans for the team to explore
  • Communication – able to communicate complex information in simple ways, depending on the audience
  • Passion for the subject matter and desire to learn – always be developing the skillset, investigating new opportunities, learning from information available
  • Experience and Adaptability – experience of different scenarios such as product and country launch, deal events, peak planning, budget forecasting & performance recovery
  • Commercially minded – understand to the full extent how PPC spends and performance impact the bottom line, SDE, brand valuation, ROI
