Founded by ex-Amazonians for Amazon Sellers, Olsam are building a European consumer goods company that acquires and scales category leading Amazon FBA brands sold across global marketplaces. Believing that brands should be built for the long-term, we want to be the first point of contact for any Amazon FBA operators that are looking to sell their businesses and see their brands go to the next level.

The Role

Critical to our growth ambitions is a supply chain platform that can seamlessly integrate new brands and products and enables our existing portfolio to expand into new sales channels and geographies. We are looking for a talented and driven person to dig into data and execute our supply chain playbook to keep our business humming along, while also supporting key initiatives to make our supply chain more efficient and improve how we do business.

Responsibilities

As part of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring our products remain in-stock across all of our sales channels and geographies, while optimizing our supply chain for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. As part of this role, you will:

  • Work with our growth team to understand sales forecasts to develop inventory ordering plans and place orders with manufacturers on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Plan shipments from our manufacturers to our fulfillment network in the US, UK, and EU, optimizing for cost and speed
  • Monitor logistics providers’ performance to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods to our warehouses in our key markets
  • Provide operational support needed to facilitate growth in new geographies (EU/UK) and new sales channels (e.g. Walmart marketplace, Shopify, Wish etc.)
  • Manage a variety key supply chain initiatives including initial scoping with leadership, research and analysis as needed, and execution of agreed upon action plan
  • Manage any external resources (contractors) who support our supply chain transactions
  • Collaborate with tech team/Product Manager to help develop our supply chain tech tools to facilitate scaling our business with new brands and growth into new channels/geographies
